As part of the Erasmus+ CBHE project 1FUTURE, a workshop titled Noise Monitoring Workshop was held at the CEPS Kiseljak.
The theoretical part of the workshop took place in the newly equipped Knowledge Hub for Climate and Sustainability (KHCS), where participants had the opportunity to learn about the basics of noise monitoring in urban and industrial environments, as well as how to handle noise measurement devices.
Following the theoretical segment, participants engaged in a practical demonstration of using the noise measurement device, which was conducted in the parking area of the CEPS campus. The equipment used during the workshop was procured through the 1FUTURE project, further enhancing CEPS’s technical capacity in the fields of climate and acoustic sustainability.
The workshop was attended by representatives from the business sector, as well as CEPS faculty and students, demonstrating the importance of connecting education, practice, and sustainable technologies. Through such initiatives, CEPS continues to actively contribute to the development of professional competencies in environmental protection and climate change, while strengthening cooperation between academia and the private sector.
