The 1st International Scientific Conference “A Decade of Sustainable Development Goals (2015–2025): Reflections and Future Perspectives” was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, from September 25 to 27, 2025, marking ten years since the adoption of the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference gathered numerous domestic and international experts, researchers, institutional representatives, civil society members, and students. It was organized by the Center for Transdisciplinary Promotion of Sustainable Development – OdRaST and the Center for Human Rights Research and Education, with strong support from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Split. Over the three-day program, plenary lectures, thematic sessions, round tables, and poster presentations were held, covering topics such as climate change, education, energy, social justice, and sustainable policies.
Professors from University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies”, Kiseljak, participated in the conference and presented the paper “Comparative Analysis of Climate and Sustainability Practices in Education,” developed within the 1FUTURE project. The paper was the result of one of the project tasks prepared by Nermin Palić, Mirzo Selimić, Henrik Hassel, Oltion Marko, Elona Pojani, Vittoria Ridolfi, Amer Smailbegović, and Edisa Nukić.
This was an excellent opportunity to disseminate 1FUTURE project results and exchange experiences with international colleagues. The authors received Certificates of Participation, and the organizers announced the upcoming publication of the conference proceedings with Palgrave Macmillan.
