From December 1 to 4, 2025, the SKILL2SUSTAIN consortium held a series of project management meetings at the University of Zagreb, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business. Partners reviewed work package progress, upcoming deliverables, and coordinated activities supporting green and digital transitions in Western Balkan higher education. CEPS project team played an active role in WP2 through needs assessment and stakeholder engagement, contributed to national report preparation based on conducted surveys, and reported on WP3 progress related to equipment procurement and the establishment of Research and Education Centres. CEPS, together with colleagues from the University of Novi Sad, co-moderated the dissemination reporting workshop and took part in the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the University of Zagreb, which was attended by numerous guests – from university deans and ministry representatives to the President of the Republic of Croatia.
The following sessions focused on planning training mobility, accreditation processes, curriculum development, and activities linked to the digital E-library, internal quality reporting, and future action planning. CEPS presented its accreditation roadmap, provided inputs for dissemination and financial workshops, and participated in coordination of reporting procedures.
As part of the study visit, CEPS staff joined partners at the Faculty of Civil Engineering to explore innovative practices in green construction and digital education, followed by a visit to the new Zagreb City Library and Socio-Cultural Center at Paromlin. These activities reinforced the project’s broader mission of strengthening green competencies, digital readiness, and institutional transformation across Western Balkan higher education institutions.
