Within the framework of the Erasmus+ VET project SEE-GL, which aims to strengthen the integration of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in the transport and logistics sector, University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak successfully conducted a pilot training programme for vocational education and training (VET) learners. The activity was implemented as part of Work Package 3, which focuses on the development and validation of a curriculum for the emerging profession of ESG Specialist in Transport Logistics, aligned with labour market needs and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
The training took place from 22 to 24 April 2026 at the Climate and Sustainability Knowledge Center at CEPS and brought together 25 VET learners. Through an intensive three-day programme, participants acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge related to the application of ESG principles in transport logistics. The training was delivered using educational materials and modules developed within the SEE-GL project, which had previously been tested and improved through pilot activities involving VET providers. This approach enabled the assessment of the quality, relevance, and applicability of the developed curriculum in a real educational environment.
The evaluation results demonstrated a high level of participant satisfaction with both the content and organisation of the training, while also confirming the growing importance of ESG competencies for the future development of the transport and logistics sector. Participants particularly highlighted the practical value of the acquired knowledge for their professional development and for meeting the requirements of sustainable business practices. The feedback collected during the training will be used to further improve the learning materials and expand practical training components, ensuring even more effective implementation of the curriculum and contributing to the development of sustainable and ESG-oriented transport logistics education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region.
