The Erasmus+ CBHE SKILL2SUSTAIN project and the 1FUTURE platform were presented during the 14th Annual UN MSMEs Day Conference 2026, held on 6–7 July 2026 in Sarajevo under the theme "SMEs between Digitalisation, Green Transition and Turbulence in Global Supply Chains."
The promotion took place within Panel IV – Green Transition of SMEs, organized by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. On behalf of the University College "CEPS – Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak, the project was presented by Doc. Dr. Nermin Palić, Head of the Research and Education Center, together with Mirsad Jašarspahić, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Emir Pašić, Head of the Centre for International Cooperation and EU Funds at the Chamber. The presenters introduced the project's objectives, key achievements, and future activities.
Particular emphasis was placed on the 1FUTURE online networking platform, developed within the 1FUTURE and SKILL2SUSTAIN projects to connect higher education institutions (students and academy representatives), businesses, public authorities, and other stakeholders, facilitating knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the promotion of digital and green transition initiatives.
The conference highlighted the importance of international cooperation and knowledge sharing in strengthening the competitiveness and sustainable development of SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the wider region. It brought together over 150 representatives of academia, public institutions, the business sector, and international organizations, with speakers and panelists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bahrain, Nigeria, Morocco, Albania, Türkiye, Australia, and Spain, fostering the exchange of good practices and innovative solutions for sustainable SME development.
