As part of the implementation of Work Package WP3 – Education and Capacity Building within the IMPACT Campus project, the student course “Innovation and Knowledge Valorization” was successfully delivered during May and June 2026. The course was implemented according to the harmonised certification programme (D3.6) developed and delivered across partner institutions, with the aim of strengthening students’ competencies in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, business idea development, and the practical application of knowledge.

At CEPS, a total of 18 students successfully completed the training, which consisted of a 50-hour educational programme (2 ECTS credits). The programme combined online learning, project-based activities, multidisciplinary teamwork, and the development of innovative solutions. Through a practical learning approach, students had the opportunity to apply acquired knowledge in creating business models and developing ideas with potential for market implementation.

As a result of the students’ work, four Canvas Business Models were developed: LokalMajstor.ba – a digital platform connecting users with local service providers; E-Scooter & Bicycle Sharing Platform – a platform promoting sustainable urban mobility; Second-Hand Fashion Marketplace – a digital marketplace supporting the reuse of fashion products; and CarbonWise Consulting – a consulting solution focused on carbon reduction and sustainable business practices.

The implementation of this course further strengthened the innovation culture, entrepreneurial mindset, knowledge valorisation capacities, and the development of sustainability-oriented solutions based on digital transformation and applied learning. This activity represents an important contribution to connecting education, innovation, and the needs of modern society through the development of students’ practical competencies.

The IMPACT Campus concept and dissemination methodology were originally developed by DiTELC Switzerland, which retains intellectual authorship and ownership of the underlying design and structure.
