COMPLETION OF THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TRAINING FOR STUDENTS UNDER THE RES-UNI PROJECT

As part of Work Package 2: Digital Transformation of the Res-Uni project, a multi-day training was held for students from partner higher education institutions participating in the project. During the training, students had the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills in the areas of digital transformation, digital ethics, digital entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and the application of artificial intelligence in everyday life.
Students of the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak, together with their colleagues from partner institutions, successfully completed the program and took the final test. Based on the achieved results, students Dario Šušnja and Vedad Šahić achieved the highest scores and were selected to participate in an international student internship at Firat University in Elazig, Republic of Türkiye, from 23 to 29 November 2025. The project will cover all travel, accommodation, meals, and pocket money expenses.
The students expressed their satisfaction and readiness to take on new challenges, emphasizing the importance of practical experience and international cooperation for their professional development.
Dario Šušnja stated: “I am glad that I can combine my studies in transport with digital transformation and see how modern technologies are applied in real transport systems. This training in Turkey is an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and gain practical experience. I feel excited and motivated because I know this will greatly contribute to my future professional path.”
Vedad Šahić added: “I look forward to the opportunity to gain practical experience and apply what I have learned in real situations. I believe this internship will help me grow professionally and gain a clearer vision of the direction I want to pursue in the future.”
This training was implemented within the framework of the ERASMUS+ Capacity Building Project Res-Uni (ERASMUS-EDU-2024-CBHE-STRAND-1-101179358), which aims to strengthen the capacities of higher education institutions in digital transformation, research, and development, as well as to enhance the competencies of students and academic staff in line with European standards.
